Radiy Khabirov visited the construction site of the hospice in Ufa

On February, 27 the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov visited the construction site of the largest hospice in Russia, which is being built in Ufa.

The Head of the Republic instructed the Vice-Premier of the Government, Maxim Zabelin, to begin forming sets of medical equipment to transfer it to the hospice. The builders were tasked with completing its construction by October 11 – the Day of the Republic.

The mission of the hospice is to provide palliative care to terminally ill patients – adults and children. The institution will create comfortable conditions for caring for the sick, and with its help relatives and friends will be able to get the necessary social respite.

The construction of the complex of buildings started at the beginning of 2020. Three buildings will appear on the 2.37 hectare site: children's and adult departments, as well as an administrative and medical block. The facility is designed for 60 beds – 40 for adults and 20 for children.
